Kondakovia nigmatullini
Introduction
Kondakovia nigmatullini is a recently described species found in sub-Antartic waters. The two individuals of the type series were taken on the Patagonian slope at depths of 401-1404 m.

- with 23-27 hooks on the manus.
- with reticulate structure on surface of the mantle.
- with widely rhombic fins.
- with rostrum of gladius 9-14% ML.
Characteristics
- Tentacles
- Tentacular club with about 23-27 hooks and two complete series of marginal suckers.
- Mantle
- Mantle skin with reticulate structure in young individuals. Adults unknown.
- Mantle skin with reticulate structure in young individuals. Adults unknown.
- Gladius
- Gladius not visible beneath skin in dorsal midline.
- Gladius rostrum 9-14% GL, with triangular cross-section.
