Thaites ruminiana
Vazrick NazariIntroduction
Fossil described by Scudder (1875) from Aix-en-Provence, Southern France. Its phylogenetic position has been discussed by Hancock (1983). A recent study (Nazari et al., 2007) suggests that this fossil belongs to either Luehdorfiini or Zerynthiini tribes within Parnassiinae.
