Omoglymmius (Caeconavitia)

Characteristics
The antennal stylet is present. The basal setae and the clypeal setae are absent. The eye is reduced, elongate, and about 0.33 of the depth of the head. Facetting of the cornea is not visible except under high magnification. The frontal grooves are deep and narrow. The gular pits are enlarged. The medial angles of the temporal lobes are simple, without translucent areas. The postorbital tubercles are absent.

The marginal groove of the pronotum is entire, not abbreviated posteriorly. Sterna III-V each have a transverse row of punctures. Sternum IV has deep and sternum V has shallow lateral pits in each sex.
